Whether you are capturing the first moments of your sweet new family, or you are updating your family portraits, we are here to create custom heirloom portraits for your family. 

Consultation

What type of art are you envisioning for your home? From what to wear, to how you will display your images, color, theme, and location, we will answer all of these questions and get to know a little bit about your family during the consultation. We create custom art, so the more we know about your style and home, the better we can plan for your session. When we know what types of product you are looking for, we know how to style the session to match the desired art.  Consultations can take place over the phone or in person, and generally last around the same time as a cup of coffee. 

Session Location

 We offer 2 options for session locations- My home studio, which is typically for newborn, milestone, and some limited edition sessions, and on location, which better serves family and childhood portraits. 

My cozy home studio is located in Crestwood, Kentucky. I am excited to invite you and your little one into my home studio. For newborns and milestone sessions I have many props, outfits, blankets and backdrops to accommodate your photo shoot. I have all the necessary studio accessories to help the shoot run smoothly, including heater and noise machine for newborns, and toys and noisemakers for older babies. All pieces used are cleaned with baby-friendly cleaners and washed in All Free and Clear after each session. 

A favorite option for family and childhood sessions is on location. We will meet up at a local park or venue and have some fun! These sessions are less posed, and have a more natural, care-free style. Your family will simply play while I capture your interactions. These are such fun for the kids, and less intimidating for the parents. Family sessions are great for all ages, but we recommend starting around 6 months and up, just when your baby is getting the hang of sitting on their own.

Premier Ordering and Reveal Appointment

This is the moment you have been waiting for! Getting to see your images for the first time is such a fun experience, for both you and your photographer.  These appointments take place in your home for your convenience, however other arrangements can be made. We treat it like a mini red carpet event with snacks and a slideshow of all the images from your session. During this session, we take the time to design the perfect art piece for your home, helping you to choose which images work best for your needs.
